I qualified from St Georges Medical School, London in 2009 as a physiotherapist. After leaving university I went travelling for almost a year with my first stop at an orphanage in Cambodia were I worked with severely disabled children for a month.

I returned for my graduation in 2010 and bagged my first job in a hospital in Surrey where I did my junior rotations. My senior position was in Ealing Hospital in the community where I remained for 4 years until I moved to New York in an attempt to get my physio license out there (they didn’t want me and I’m glad for it). My next step was teaching reformer pilates alongside musculoskeletal physio across 2 clinics in Surrey and SW London where I became extremely interested in pelvic health and pregnancy. I’m now a qualified western medicine acupuncturist (BMAS) and a Physio in Obstetric, Gynae and Pelvic Health (POGP) member and will continue my learning in this area of huge interest to me. My passions are improving pelvic health awareness and getting/keeping mums-to-be fit.

My dream is for all people to be able to have access to pelvic health all around the world at any age and particularly the child bearing years. I want to aid in dropping the taboo’s surrounding sexual and pelvic health in order to urge people who are experiencing changes to seek help and advice from professionals. The sooner we drop the stigma around our sexual organs and feel comfortable discussing these subjects the sooner treatments can be accessed and change can happen.

“I went to Sarah for a Mummy MOT a few months after giving birth. She really listened to my story and provided excellent advice and care. My consultation with her really boosted my confidence and gave me practical help to solve my issues.”
